High Country Slabs is Northern Arizona’s largest and most diverse source of live edge slabs. Featuring over 20 different species, all of our wood is ethically and locally sourced right here in Arizona. We have 100’s of slabs to choose from ranging from cutting board size up todining table size. Our prices are extremely competitive and many of our customers have stated that we have some of the lowest prices in the state. We air dry our slabs to 20 % moisture content and then finish them in the kiln down to >10% moisture content.

We sell by the board foot. A board foot measures 12”x12’x1”. So for example, a 12” wide slab that is 2 inches thick and 6 feet long would be 12 board feet (Length x Width x Height/144). A 20” wide slab that is 2 inches thick and 8 feet long= 96x20x2/144= 26.6 board feet
